Children photographer in Bethel. How to take artistic portrait of a toddler?

I took this photograph of my son when he was about two years old. As all other boys his age he would never sit still not to mention look at me and smile. I decided to use my 50mm lens which allowed me to sit very close to him and found some bubble solution at home. I told him to sit down on the rocks in my back yard,  I sat down on the ground in front of him. While I was holding bubbles in my left I had my camera in my right. I made sure I am ready to take photos of him as soon as I saw him blowing bubbles.

This is one of the favorite images of my son. We liked it so much we decided to order large canvas and hang it on a wall of our living room.

My favorite part of this image is the fact that he is so focused, trying to blow those bubbles and at the same time he is watching them disappear.

Sometimes I have to get creative to find a perfect way to get him sit still but in the case of bubbles, what two year old doesn't like bubbles!
